Beautiful

Every time I told her she was beautiful
she pointed out another physical flaw
not realizing that they were part of what made her
the woman I had fallen so hard for
Not realizing that they didn’t matter
when it was her heart and soul that I loved so much
Not realizing how much I enjoyed kissing those imperfections
and holding them close to my own
